The 12-Party Alliance held a preliminary discussion on Friday regarding the recommendations submitted by the Reform Committee on constitutional, electoral, police, public administration, judicial, and anti-corruption reforms.
The meeting took place at the temporary office of the alliance, presided over by its chief, Mustafa Jamal Haider, said a press release.
During the meeting, it was decided that the recommendations sent by the National Consensus Commission would undergo further detailed review before submission. The alliance also agreed to hold a full-fledged meeting for an in-depth discussion on the matter.

However, the alliance expressed concerns that it might not be possible to review and submit feedback on the recommendations within the stipulated timeframe. As a result, it was decided to request the National Consensus Commission for a one-week extension to complete the review process.
Spokesperson and chairman of Bangladesh LDP, Shahadat Hossain Selim, and coordinator of the alliance and chairman of the Bangladesh National Party, Syed Ehsanul Huda, were also present.
