He accused BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir of making false statements highlighting government’s failure in tackling coronavirus situation.
Quader made the remarks at a briefing at his resident.
Protesting against Mirza Fakhrul’s statement, Quader said all the BNP did was talk instead of helping the people.
BNP on Monday said the government has been taking ‘impudent’ decisions having failed to tackle the coronavirus situation.
“The government has completely failed to deal with the situation and raise hope among people. It's taking reckless decisions one after another that are only contributing to the spread of the virus," said Mirza Fakhrul.

Quader criticised the remarks and said the government is working to save lives from coronavirus as well as keeping the economy moving.
