Former Asian Games gold medalist Bangladesh Men's Cricket team will play their giant neighbor India in the first semifinal of the 19th Asian Games Men's Cricket on Friday (October 6).
The match will kick-off at 7 am Bangladesh time at the Zhejiang University of Technology Cricket ground in Hangzhou.
Pakistan will play the 2nd semifinal also on Friday at 12 noon against Afghanistan, who eliminated Sri Lanka by 8 runs in the day's 3rd quarterfinal.

Bangladesh men's cricket team brought laurel for the country by winning the first Asian Games gold medal in the Guangzhou Asian Games 2010 and clinched the bronze medal at the Incheon Asiad in 2014.
In case of a win against India on Friday, then Bangladesh entered the gold battle like the Guangzhou games, otherwise they will join the bronze race in the 3rd place deciding match.
Ahead of Friday's vital match against India, Bangladesh team made the final practice session on Thursday.
Earlier, Bangladesh mens cricket team managed a semifinal berth in the ongoing Games Cricket with a dramatic two-run victory over Malaysia in a nailbiting 4th quarterfinal on Wednesday (Oct 4).

Earlier, India made a semifinal berth eliminating Nepal by 23 runs while Pakistan qualified for the last four stage eliminating Hong Kong by 68 runs in the quarter final match on Tuesday.
