The Bangladesh booters are scheduled to leave Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 9:30pm.
The match will be held at the Seeb Sports Stadium in Al Seeb city of Oman at 9pm (BST) on the day.
Ahead of the match, Bangladeshi booters will make a 10-day training camp there that also include a practice match against a top football club of Oman.
Bangladesh have been put in Group E of the AFC Cup with Qatar, Oman, Afghanistan and neighbouring India.
The red and green team started their campaign with a 0-1 goal defeat against Afghanistan in the 1st match in the Tajik capital of Dushanbe on September 10, conceded a 0-2 goals defeat against Asian champions Qatar in the 2nd match in Dhaka on October 10 and played to a 1-1 draw against India in their 3rd match in Kolkata on October 15.
In the remaining group matches, Bangladesh will play Afghanistan on March 26 next year in Bangladesh, Qatar on March 31 in Qatar, India on June 4 in Bangladesh and Oman on June 9 in Bangladesh.
On the other hand, Oman made a flying start in the qualifiers beating India by 2-1 goals in Guwahati on September 5 and beat Afghanistan by 3-0 goals in Al-Seeb on October 10 but conceded 1-2 goals defeat against Qatar in Al Wakrah on October 15.
Bangladesh ranked 184th in the FIFA rankings and 38th in AFC ones while Oman ranked 84th and 11th respectively.
Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) announced a 31-member preliminary squad -- 23 booters and 8 officials -- at a press conference at BFF house in Motijheel on Saturday.
Team Manager Satyajit Das Rupu, Assistant Coach Masud Parvez Kaisar, Goalkeeper Ashraful Islam Rana and BFF General Secretary Md Abu Nayeem Shohag addressed the press conference.
Initially, 26 members of the squad will go to Oman on Sunday while the rest five with two booters and three officials will the join team on November 4 and 11.
Rupu said, “Captain Jamal Bhuiyan, Head Coach Jamie Day, Assistant Coach Stuart Paul Watkiss and Physiotherapist Simon James are now on leave, and they’ll will join the team on November 4 there.”
“Our defender Yeasin Arafat, also a member of Bangladesh U-19 team, will join the team on November 11 after playing the qualifying round of the AFC U-19 Championship’ 2020 beginning in November 6 in Bahrain,” he added.
Goalkeeper Ashraful Islam Rana said, “After playing 1-1 draw against India, we’re very confident for the next match against Oman. If we play well, we’ll definitely get good results.”
A total of 14 national players played for the two Bangladeshi clubs in the just concluded Sheikh Kamal International Cup Tournament in Chattogram.
Replying to a query about fatigue, Assistant Coach Kaisar said, “We’re well known about their fatigue. We’ll give them proper rest during the camp.”
BFF General Secretary Shohag said, “The team will play a practice match against a top club there on November 9 as part of their preparations for the November 14 match.”
Oman Football Association confirmed the date of the match but they are yet to confirm the team and venue.Bangladesh included a fresh booter, forward Rakib Hossain, in the preliminary squad. He will replace right winger Jewel Rana.
