Dhaka, Jan 29 (UNB)– Arambagh Krira Shangha earned the 2nd successive victory in their 3rd match of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football upsetting Saif Sporting Club by a solitary goal in their home venue, Rafiq Uddin Bhuiyan Stadium in Mymensingh on Tuesday.
Mathew Chinedu scored the match-winning goal in the 75th minute.
Mediocre Arambagh KS, which made a frustrating start losing to formidable Sheikh Russel KC 0-1 goal in the league opener, strongly came back in the race outplaying traditional Dhaka Mohammedan SC by 4-1 goals, also in Mymensingh last Friday.
The day’s other match between Chittagong Abahani Limited and lowly Team BJMC ended in a goalless draw at the Shahid Bhulu Stadium in Noakhali.
Joints league leader Bashundhara Kings will play newcomers Nofel SC at 3 pm at the Sheikh Kamal Stadium in Nilphamari while Dhaka Mohammedan SC will encounter Brother Union Club at 4 pm at the Bangabandhu National Stadium here on Monday.
