With the day’s outcome, Bashundhara Kings topped the list securing 19 points from seven matches while Arambagh KS remained at the 5th slot in the league table with their previous credit of 12 points from eight league outings.

Holder Dhaka Abahani Limited followed the leader neck and neck with 18 points from eight matches.

In the day’s match, Arifur Rahman put Maruful Haque’s Arambagh KS ahead in the 23rd minute (1-0) while newcomers Bashundhara Kings leveled the margin just two minutes later (25th minute) by a gifted suicidal goal as the Nigerian booter of Arambagh KS sent the ball to his own net while trying foiling an attempt (1-1).

After a barren first half, Mahadi put the freedom fighters team ahead in the 49th minute while Sujon confirmed the Muktijoddha victory adding one more goal in the 87th minute.

Muktijoddha Sangsad KC bagged 10 points from seven matches while Team BJMC remained at bottom with three points from eight encounters.
