Bangladesh will play Bhutan in the first semifinal of the 7-nation 6th SAFF Women's Championship' 2022 on Friday (Sept 16) at 1:15 pm (Bangladesh time) at the Dasharath Stadium (Rangasala) in the Nepalses capital Kathmandu.
Hosts Nepal will face five-time champions India in the day's other semi-final at 5:45 pm (Bangladesh time) at the same venue.
The final match will be held on September 19.
Earlier, Bangladesh women's football team emerged Group A champions to reach the semifinal of the ongoing regional women's soccer meet with all-win record by achieving their first-ever victory against Indian National Women's team with a huge margin of 3-0 goal.
Siraj Jahan Swapna struck twice, one in each half while Krishna Rani Sarkar netted the other goal for Bangladesh in the last group match against India last Tuesday.
This was the first victory for red and green girls against five-time champions and holders India in eleven meetings.

In the previous ten meetings, India beat Bangladesh on nine occasions and the remaining match ended in a goalless draw in the Indian town of Silligurii in 2016.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh women's team made their practices Thursday afternoon from 1:10 pm to 2:10 pm at the Kathmandu Armed Police ground after making activation, techtical training, pool and ice bath session at the team hotel in the morning.
