In reply, Bangladesh were never in a position to pose even a bit of a challenge to Australia. They tumbled to only 78 in 18.1 overs. Captain Nigar Sultana scored 32, the highest for her team. Bangladesh lost wickets at regular intervals, ultimately handing them a big defeat.
Bangladesh will take on India in another series later this month at home. This will be an important series considering that Bangladesh will host this year's T20 World Cup.
