The brand ranked fifth in the global smartphone market in 2020 with a market share of 8.6% and shipments exceeding 110 million devices, according to the latest annual number of International Data Corporation.
Vivo Bangladesh Managing Director Duke said this in a recent message.

He also said, "The unprecedented circumstances of last year made everything hard to manage – working remotely and striking a balance while keeping employees and front-line staff safe and healthy."
"We worked closely with our eco-system partners and e-commerce channel partners to stay close to all level of customers."
"The last year saw the launch of industry-leading camera smartphones by vivo to make each day special. We witnessed the successful launch of handsets from the Y series and V series, packed with unique features designed to empower young minds by offering excellent mobile technologies, innovative solutions, and powerful performance," Duke continued.

Mentioning the specs of the V20 flagship series, he said the latest milestone in vivo's innovative history of unlocking professional photo capabilities through phones received widespread appreciation since its launch.
Vivo opened a mobile assembly plant in Bangladesh in 2019, demonstrating its commitment towards "made-in-Bangladesh."
Informing that vivo and ZEISS will have strategic collaboration, Duke said, "We recently partnered with ZEISS for mobile imaging."
