Winners of last year's Seeds for the Future programme, a CSR programme by Chinese telecom giant Huawei for aspiring science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) and non-STEM students, recently visited the Huawei Bangladesh headquarters in Dhaka.
The winners were allowed to experience how different operations and services are done at the Huawei office. It was an eye-opening experience for them as they got the chance to learn from experts and develop insights on different ICT-related topics such as networking and cloud services.
In a special session during their visit, Yuying Karl, head of public affairs and communications department at Huawei Bangladesh, guided them in their further growth.
Yuying said: "We want to do everything for developing ICT talents in the country and give them proper exposure so that they can gather proper ICT knowledge. I believe the visit will help the champions in forming ideas about different technical and networking issues prevalent in the industry."
