The victims include 30 females, six children, eight youths and 202 males, said SSTAF secretary Rashim Mollah at a press conference at its Purana Paltan office in the city on Sunday.
The data have been collected from local and national dailies and some online portals as well as television channels, he said.
Most of the victims were killed while harvesting paddy, fishing and grazing cattle in field while some others died while sleeping in cottages and tin-sheet houses and under trees, Rahim added.
In February, at least 11 people, including 10 males, were killed and eight others injured by lightning strikes across the country.
Of the injured, four are males while two females and rest of them are young people.
In March, five people -- five males and two females -- were killed while three others injured.
Twenty people were killed and eight others injured in the month of April while in May, the death toll was 60, including 48 females, while the number of injured was 24.
Around 66 people were killed and 18 others injured by thunderbolt in June while the figure was 47 and 25 respectively in July while 37 people were killed and 11 others injured in the month of August.
Most of the deaths were reported from Satkhira, Kishoreganj, Pabna, Sunamganj, Cox’s Bazar, Rajshahi, Chapainawabganj, Naogaon, Narayanganj, Gazipur and Tangail districts.
Executive Head of the organisation Abdul Alim and Vice-president Sohel Rana were, among others, present.
