Another victim, who sustained bullet-injuries in a clash between two factions of BNP in Munshiganj Sadar upazila on Monday, died while undergoing treatment at a Dhaka hospital on Tuesday.
With this, two men have so far died in this connection.
The deceased was identified as Raihan Khan, son of Rustom Khan of Chardumuria village under Mollakandi union of the upazila.
Officer-in-Charge M Saiful Alam of Munshiganj Sadar Police Station said Raihan breathed his last while receiving treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital on Tuesday noon.
Another injured Imran is undergoing treatment at the DMCH, he said.
Earlier on Monday morning, a BNP activist named Arif Mir was shot dead and two others, including Raihan, were injured during the clash between the factions over establishing supremacy in the Mollakandi union.
Following the clash, injured Raihan and Iman were shifted to the DMCH after giving first aid in the district.
Locals said the clash erupted from a longstanding dispute between Arif, an associate of former union BNP vice-president Awlad Hossain, and Shah Kamal, a follower of district BNP convening committee member Atik Mallik and current union BNP president Ohid Mollah.
On November 2, supporters of the Awlad group allegedly fired on members of the Kamal group, killing one of their activists, Tuhin.
