With the directives of Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat, the aerial show for making 100 by different aircraft of BAF will be displayed in different areas of Bangladesh, said an ISPR release on Sunday.
Bangladesh is in a festive mood with joy and splendour for the grand celebrations of the birth centenary of Bangabandhu.
As part of this exhilaration, the skilled pilots of BAF which was formed by Bangabandhu will show magnificent aerial display by making 100 with great compassion over the Bangabandhu Mausoleum from the sky of Tungipara.
In this fascinating exhibition of K-8W and PT-6 aircraft of BAF, the skilled pilots of Bangladesh Air Force Academy will add a new dimension to the cheerful and ecstatic colours of the entire nation by making 100 through the formation flying at Tungipara.
After Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina places the wreath at the mausoleum, a formation of K-8W and PT-6 aircraft of BAF will fly over the sky of Tungipara from 10:20am to 10:35am.
Later, 22 PT-6 aircraft of BAF will show outstanding aerial display in Khulna area from 01:30pm to 01:40pm and Jashore area from 01:45pm to 01:55pm.
Also, through a formation flight comprising of BAF fighter aircraft, C-130 transport aircraft and helicopters, the aerial show will be displayed in Chattogram area from 10:15am to 10:50am, Cox's Bazar area from 10:30am to 10:40am, Barishal area from 01:45pm to 02:00pm, Mymensingh area from 04:00pm to 04:10pm and Sylhet area from 04:15pm to 04:25pm.
Besides, BAF C-130 transport aircraft and helicopters will carry the National Flag of Bangladesh and K-8W aircraft will pass smoke in Dhaka area from 02:00 pm to 02:15 pm.
The aerial show will also be displayed on Wednesday in Bogura area from 11:00am to 11:10 am and Rangpur area from 11:15am to 11:25am.
