The government is sending a special flight to bring back Bangladesh citizens from Wuhan city of China, the epicentre of coronavirus outbreak.
The flight is scheduled to leave Dhaka airport at 5pm today (Friday) .
The Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight having a capacity of 419 passengers will land in Dhaka at 2am on Saturday.
"So far, our calculation is 340 because they have showed their willingness to be evacuated," Bangladesh Ambassador to China Mahbub Uz Zaman told UNB.
Talking to UNB, Deputy General Manager (Public Relations) Tahera Khondoker said so far their preparation is for 370 passengers, and it might go upto 400.
She said the figure might fluctuate depending on availability of persons who are willing to return.
