A case has been filed in connection with the arson attack on a bus in Fulbaria upazila of Mymensingh district on Wednesday.
Moyna Akter, sister of Julhash, filed a case with Phulbaria Police Station on Tuesday night, said Md Rokonuzzaman, officer-in-charge of the police station.
Police arrested Anwar Hossain, president of No 6 ward unit Awami League in Phulbari municipality and son of Abdul Rashid, from Chanpur area of the district.
Police produced him before the court with seven-day remand prayer.
Earlier, on Monday, miscreants set fire on a bus of ‘Alam Asia Paribahan’ in Fulbaria upazila of Mymensingh district.
