Several unidentified people have been sued in connection with the recent arson attack on the house of content creator Nuruzzaman Kafi in Patuakhali’s Kalapara upazila.
Kafi, who particularly creates content on societal irregularities, filed the case with Kalapara police station at 11pm on Wednesday, said the police station’s Inspector (investigation) Mostafizur Rahman.
Investigations are underway in this regard, said the police official.
Earlier, the content creator alleged that his house was burned down in a planned way for his participation in last year’s anti-government movement that ousted the Awami League government on August 5 last.

Besides, he suspects his participation in the demolition of Dhanmondi-32 house led to the arson attack.
Kafi’s neighbour Wali Ullah Imran said the arson attack was entirely planned as the door was locked from the outside. Everyone came out wearing just their clothes.
Kafi's house is located in Rajpara village in Kalapara. He has recently been a subject of discussion on social media.
