Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast heavy to heavy falls at places over Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions next 24 hours commencing 9am on Thursday.
“Light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions and at many places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy to very heavy falls at places over Khulna, Barishal and Chattogram divisions, ” according met office updates.
Dhaka’s air quality continues to be ‘moderate’
Day and night temperature may fall slightly over the country.
The axis of monsoon troughs runs through Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal to Assam across Southern part of Bangladesh. One of its associated troughs extends up to North Bay.
