Jagannath Hall of Dhaka University has completed all preparations to celebrate Saraswati Puja on Friday.
A total of 76 puja mandaps have been set up under the supervision of Jagannath Hall administration, said a press release on Thursday.
The annual festival will be held on the historic Jagannath Hall campus with participation from students of different departments and institutes of the university.
The programme will include traditional religious rituals, cultural events, devotional music and offerings, reflecting the long-standing heritage of Saraswati Puja at the hall.

Special arrangements have also been made to ensure a welcoming environment for visiting devotees including women and children.
The hall administration said comprehensive security measures have been taken to ensure the safety of students, devotees and visitors in coordination with Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) and the National Security Intelligence (NSI).
To maintain discipline and ensure a peaceful celebration, the administration also issued some directives including restrictions on fireworks and the use of hazardous materials.
The authorities said Jagannath Hall has historically upheld religious harmony and cultural inclusivity and urged students, teachers, staff and visitors to cooperate to uphold the festive spirit while maintaining discipline and mutual respect.
