The Energy and Mineral Resources Division of the government has introduced a modern attendance management system called ‘Truepresence’ to ensure accurate and transparent tracking of attendance for its officers and employees.
A Saudi-based company, SDM, developed the software in association with a group of Bangladeshi engineers.
Energy Adviser Muhammad Fauzul Kabir Khan inaugurated the software at a function held at Bidyut Bhaban in the city on Thursday.

The adviser thanked the Saudi Arabian company for its engagement in Bangladesh, saying that there is a special relationship between the two Muslim brotherly nations, which will become stronger in the future.
He also appreciated the officials of the Energy and Mineral Resources Division for their cooperation in launching the software.
Speaking as a special guest at the meeting, SDM CEO Salwa Abdullah F. Alhajja said that SDM feels very honored to cooperate with the Energy and Mineral Resources Division in the development of the software.
