Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested former commerce minister Tipu Munshi from the capital's Gulshan area early Thursday.
Imran Khan, assistant superintendent of police (ASP) of the RAB headquarters media wing, said they arrested Tipu Munshi from a house of Gulshan 1 around 1:10am.
"He has been arrested in a case filed over the death of a jewellery worker Muslim Uddin Milon during the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement," said the official.
However, details regarding the case could not be known immediately.
