Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Thursday said they seized goods, arms, and drugs worth Tk120.93 crore in February.
The seized items include 831,145 yaba pills, 3.681kg crystal meth, 19,587 bottles of Phensedyl, 18,167 bottles of foreign liquor, 4,316 cans of beer, 2,217kg hemp, 12.429kg heroin, 24,813 stimulant injections, 6,165 Eskuf syrups, and 2,519 bottles of MkDil/Cofidil, Shariful Islam, public relations officer of the BGB headquarters, said.

Also, 22.163kg gold, 3.630kg silver, 129,356 cosmetics, 9,738 sarees, 2,608 three-piece sets, blankets and shirt pieces; 5,332 pieces of readymade garments, 3,040 cubic feet of timber, 8,136kg tea, 65,800kg coal, three touchstone idols, 47 motorcycles, three cars, 14 pickup vans, 16 CNG and battery-run auto-rickshaws were also seized.
The seized arms include four pistols, one rifle, one revolver, four guns, two magazines and 40 rounds of bullets.
Also, legal action was taken against 131 smugglers, 41 Bangladesh nationals as well as 10 Indian nationals for illegally crossing the border, Shariful said.
