The government has urged the aspiring pilgrims who have completed primary registration for the 2026 Hajj, under government or private arrangement, to deposit the remaining amount of their Hajj package by December 31.
The Hajj-1 wing of the Religious Affairs Ministry, issued a notice in this regard on Monday.
According to the notice, the primary registration for Hajj 2026 has been completed through the deposit of Tk 3,50,000 by pilgrims under both government and private management.
According to the Hajj Package and Guidelines 2026, every pilgrim is required to deposit the full package amount by December 31, 2025.
All pilgrims, who were set to go to Saudi Arabia for Hajj 2026, who have not yet deposited the full amount of their selected package are requested to ensure payment of the remaining package money by December 31, 2025, said the notice.

It also warned that failure to deposit the remaining package amount within the stipulated time would make the pilgrim’s Hajj journey uncertain.
This year, the holy Hajj is expected to be held on May 26, subject to moon sighting.
Bangladesh’s Hajj quota for this year is 127,198 pilgrims.
