Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Tuesday greeted Abdel Fattah Al Sisi on his re-election as the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
“On behalf of the Government and the People of Bangladesh and on my own behalf, I am delighted to extend my warmest congratulations to you on your re-election as the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Your sweeping victory for the consecutive third term to this highest position clearly demonstrates your visionary statesmanship that combines your exemplary commitment, dedication, and service to the nation,” Sheikh Hasina said in a letter sent to Egyptian President.

She said that Bangladesh attaches high priority to its relations with Egypt, which draws further strength from our collective stakes in emerging areas of cooperation.
“Both countries have been carrying forward a historic, traditional, and friendly connection at bilateral and multilateral levels. I firmly believe that together, we can embark on exploring new avenues of collaboration to further deepen and strengthen the existing partnership.”
Sheikh Hasina wishes Sisi good health, happiness, and personal well-being and the brotherly Egyptian people continued peace, progress, and prosperity.
