“Candidates have to follow proper security features for verification so that no one gets a job with fake address or wrong information. Nor can any unscrupulous clique question the recruitment process in any way,” the IGP said at a meeting on the modernization of the recruitment process for constables with officials of the Human Resource Management Directorate at the police headquarters in the afternoon.
Long-term and advanced training plans for recruited cops have to be adopted and implemented preparing their career plans, he added.
The IGP has also given instruction to create an online application process based on the modernization of police constable recruitment system.
He has asked the concerned police officers to prepare the application form and follow the examination procedure so that the online application form is easy to understand for the general public.
The IGP called upon the police officers to be more efficient, alert and prompt in order to provide the desired service to the people at the earliest. There is no alternative to developing and utilizing one's qualifications for the welfare of the country and the people, he added.
The meeting was attended by other senior officials of the police headquarters.
