Md. Jahidul Islam Bhuiyan, Additional Secretary to the Prime Minister's Office, has been appointed as the new Managing Director (MD) of Biman Bangladesh Airlines Limited.

Earlier on May 21, Shafiul Azim, incumbent MD of Biman, was appointed as the Secretary of Election Commission.
