In a gesture of solidarity and support for the oppressed children of Gaza, Bangladeshi organisation Love Share BD has donated $10,000 to Buteekh, a Washington-based organisation run by Palestinian Americans.
According to a press release issued on Sunday, the donation was handed over in an informal ceremony recently.
Love Share BD President Zakir H Chowdhury and Secretary Fazle Elahi Bhuia presented a cheque of $10,000 to Mahmoud Sarhan, president of Buteekh.

Love Share BD founder Zahid Khan and Buteekh secretary Alex Delora were also present at the ceremony.
Buteekh is actively engaged in conducting direct aid operations in Gaza, where the number of casualties from Israeli attacks continues to rise. According to the Ministry of Health of Gaza, 82 people were killed in the last 24 hours alone, with Israel carrying out more than 50 bombings on Saturday. The total number of people killed in Israeli attacks since October 7 has reached 32,705, underscoring the urgent need for humanitarian assistance in the region.
The international community has been vocal in condemning the Israeli attacks, with many individuals and organizations stepping forward to support the oppressed people of Gaza. Love Share BD, founded in Virginia, USA, by Bangladeshi-American Zahid Khan, is one such charitable organization dedicated to sharing love with deprived communities.
