In an administrative reshuffle, nine Superintendent of Police (SP) and two Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) rank officials, have been transferred and given new postings.

The Home Ministry issued a notification in this regard on Sunday.

Among the nine SPs, MM Hasanul Zahid of Special Branch has been transferred to Sardah in Rajshahi while Mohammad Salah Uddin Talukdar of PBI was transferred to Mymensingh Range DIG Office.

Besides, AFM AL Kibria of Tangail PTC was transferred to CID, Md Abu Sayem Prodhan of Gaibandha In-Service Training Centre to Rangpur PTC, Shafiqul Islam of DMP to Police Headquarters, Kazi Muhammad Shafi Iqbal of Police Staff College to CID, Muhammad Kamal Hossain of PBI to Gaibandha In-Service Training Centre, Ukkya Sing of APBn to PBI, and Muhammad Ismail Hussain of Bangladesh Police in Mission to Police Headquarters.

Meanwhile, Additional Superintendent of Rangpur Range DIG Office, Sanatan Chakraborty was transferred to Rangpur Metropolitan Police while Mohammad Fakhrzzaman of Industrial Police, was transferred to Sherpur In-Service Training Centre.

However, the transfer order of Additional Superintendent of Police Md Abu Yusuf of PBI and Rab Additional Superintendent of Police Md Zahidur Rahman, who were transferred to Police Headquarter, was cancelled.
