Qatar Charity (QC) implemented the 'Qurbani Program' in Bangladesh, providing assistance to over 20,000 underprivileged individuals, including orphans and widows.
QC distributed the meat of sacrificial animals in 18 locations, including orphan care centres, across the country, to promote the values of solidarity and compassion, said a press release issued by its Dhaka office on Wednesday.
Dr. Mohammad Amin Hafiz Omar, country director of the Bangladesh office, personally oversaw the distribution efforts from the Bhairab orphan care centre in Kishoreganj.
Representatives from Qatar Charity's Bangladesh office were present at every site to ensure the efficient delivery of the meat to the beneficiaries.
