Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Thursday morning forecast rain and thunder showers with temporary winds at many places over the country in the next 24 hours.
“Trough of low lies over Gangetic West Bengal and adjoining area. Light to moderate rain, thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Dhaka, Mymensingh, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions,” BMD said in a regular bulletin.
The same was forecast at a few places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Khulna and Barishal divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country, it said.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged.
