The axis of monsoon trough was running through Rajasthan, the center of the well-marked low and thence eastwards to Assam across Bihar, West Bengal and central part of Bangladesh, it said, adding that one of its associated troughs extended up to North Bay.
Monsoon was fairly active over Bangladesh and moderate over North Bay.
Day and night temperature may rise slightly over the country, during the period.
