A tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on Thursday among Junior Chamber International (JCI) Dhaka United, Moshal Mental Health, and the Private University Students Alliance of Bangladesh (PUSAB) to enhance mental health awareness among private university students in the country and reduce social stigma surrounding therapy.
The agreement was signed at the JCI Bangladesh headquarters in Gulshan, Dhaka, marking the observance of World Mental Health Day.
AFM Fahmidur Rahman Oni, Local President of JCI Dhaka United; Maria Mumu, Founder of Moshal and Advocate Salekin, Permanent Committee Member of PUSAB, signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organisations.
JCI Bangladesh’s National Vice President Kamruzzaman Pavel and Regional Vice President Muntasir Mamun were also present at the signing ceremony.
Under the agreement, a series of workshops and discussion sessions will be organized regularly across different universities to promote awareness and understanding of mental health issues.
Participating students will gain access to Moshal’s well-being services.
Besides, JCI members will enjoy a 10% discount and priority access to Moshal’s services.
