Quoting airlineratings.com, Australia-based International Aviation Safety Rating Agency, Novoair on Monday said it received three-star ratings for ensuring passengers' safe travel.
Biman, from the same rating agency, achieved five stars out of seven in terms of air safety as it has been able to meet most of the major parameters regarding safety concern.
The rating agency prepared the safety ratings following data analysis of 405 airlines authorities’ with 12 categories.
The airlines said it is also the only private sector airlines from Bangladesh which has both European safety agency-EASA and Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) of USA endorsement.
In a statement, Novoair said it has always given priority to its customers’ safety, security, comfort and on time departure.
“By ensuring Safety and on time service, Novoair has earned trust and satisfaction of its passenger and become the Airline of choice in Bangladesh,” it reads.
Currently, Novoair operates daily flights from Dhaka to Chattogram, Cox's Bazar, Jashore, Sylhet, Saidpur, Barishal, Rajshahi and Kolkata with six ATR 72-500 aircraft.
