The Russian House in Dhaka in cooperation with the RT Documentary TV channel, held the second day of the International Documentary Film Festival "RT. Doc: Time of Our Heroes" at the State University of Bangladesh.
This project, which unites viewers and creators of documentary films, aroused great interest among students, teachers and journalists.
Director of the Russian House in Dhaka, P. Dvoychenkov noted, "The festival not only introduces viewers to important social and historical topics but also inspires young directors to create their own works. We are glad to see such interest in the culture and art of Russia."
A special guest of the festival, RT. Doc Editor Ekaterina Shubnaya, held a master class on creating documentary films for students of the journalism and media communications departments of the university.
She also spoke about the new RT project - the artel.doc portal, which contains more than 500 documentaries available in different languages.
During the second day of the festival, the following films were shown: "Donbass: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow" (authors: Tatyana Borsch), "Donbass. Echoes of War" (authors: Ekaterina Kitaytseva, Dmitry Khrustalyov), "We are Russia!" (authors: Ekaterina Kozhakina, Dmitry Khrustalyov, Anton Meshcheryakov) and "Donbass Volunteers United Strength" (authors: Ekaterina Kitaytseva, Ruslan Gusarov).
After the screening, a lively discussion took place, where viewers received answers to their questions.
The event ended with the presentation of certificates to the master class participants.
