Son of former prime minister Sheikh Hasina, Sajeeb Wazed Joy, on Wednesday alleged that BNP cadres torched Gazi Tyre factory and all such crimes are going on with complete impunity.
“BNP cadres torched it. Nobody brought to book; all these crimes are going on with complete impunity,” he wrote in a post on his verified Facebook page.
He also said that more than 172 people went missing due to the fire in the Gazi Tyre Factory.
“This arson terror was done only because Golam Dastagir Gazi was an Awami League MP,” he added.
The post also said that the looting of this factory started on August 5 and continued till August 8, and after Gazi’s arrest on 24th, looting started again.
