Not only the people of the country but also the democratic world does not want to see this government in power anymore, said BNP Standing Committee Member Nazrul Islam Khan on Wednesday.
"The downfall of this government is inevitable,” said Nazrul.

"Our movement is for one-point demand and our demand is legitimate. We are with the people, and the people are with us. This government will fall. Those who are participating in the movement for its downfall will one day take pride in saying that they brought down this government,” he said at a programme organised to demand the resignation of the government at Gabtoli Bus Terminal in Dhaka.
Dhaka North BNP organised the programme.

BNP Standing Committee member Abdul Moyeen Khan attended the programme as the chief guest.
"In such a situation, even if all the democratic parties in the country come together, they cannot allow any election to be held under this government. The current situation in the country has brought the people to the brink. The rising prices of commodities have pushed them against the wall,” said Nazrul.
"History testifies that BNP can establish democracy, and in the future, BNP will also be able to do so,” he said.

Nazrul said democracy would be established under the leadership of Tarique Rahman.
The programme was presided over by Acting Convener of BNP Metropolitan North Unit Farhad Halim Donar and moderated by Member Secretary Aminul Haque,
