A brilliant hattrick by Nigerian striker Peter Evimobowel Thankgod Ebi enabled Chittagong Abahani to play 3-3 draw with Saif Sporting Club in the 12-team Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football on Thursday.
Thankgod made the hattrick scoring all the three goals for Abahani in the 45+2 minute (p), 67th and 90+3 minute at the Bir Shreshtha FL. Lt Matiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj.
Sajjad Hossain scored first for Saif SC in very 5th minute while Nigerian forward Emeka Ogbugh added two more goals in the 58th and 80th minutes, both from penalty.

After the day's outcome, the sky blue team from port city remained at the 4th slot in the league table securing nine points from five encounters while Saif SC were in the 6th place collecting seven points from five outings.
Six-time champions Dhaka Abahani Ltd dominated the league table with unbeaten run securing 13 points from five matches, followed by last two times champions Bashundhara Kings with 12 points, also playing five matches
In the day’s other match, Bangladesh Police FC tasted the first victory in their 5th match beating Uttar Baridhara Club by 2-0 goal at the Sheikh Fazlul Haque Moni Stadium in Gopalganj.

After barren first half, Faisal Ahmed Shitol put Police FC ahead in the 72nd minute (1-0) while A Sharifi confirmed Police victory scoring one more goal in the 88th minute (2-0).
