With this victory, Mohammedans not only maintained their all-win run as the lone team in the ongoing league but also dominated the league comfortably  securing full 21 points from straight seven matches. After the 2nd defeat in seven matches, the old Dhaka outfit Rahmatganj MFS further went down in the league race with 15 points while the Gopibagh team Brothers Union are in 3rd slot, bagging 14 points, playing seven matches each. Star-studded Kings topped the league table with 21 points from seven straight matches; second-placed Dhaka Abahani earned 15 points from as many encounters. Sheikh Russell remained in the fifth spot with 12 points from six matches. After a goalless first half, Brazilian forward Robson Robinho put the Kings ahead in the 65th minute from a penalty (1-0); Uzbek midfielder Asror Gafurov doubled the lead in the 73rd minute (2-0). Former champions Dhaka Abahani remained in the second spot with a better goal difference after earning 11 points from five matches.
