Mohammad Nabi- Afghanistan

Nabi is an all-rounder, who is right handed batsman as well as off break bowler. His T20 debut was on February 01, 2010, against Ireland. As of Oct 18, 2021, he played 81 international T20 matches, scored 1396 runs, and took 72 wickets. Apart from playing in the national team, Nabi also played in numerous T20 leagues including the Indian Premier League, Bangladesh Premier League, Pakistan Super League, and more. Australian batsman Aaron Finch captains the Australian cricket team and also he is the captain of the 2021 T20 World Cup. Debuted in 2010 Finch played 76 T20 International (T20I) matches and scored 2473 so far. Currently, he holds the record for two of the three T20I highest individual scores. His 156 runs against English in 2013 and 172 against Zimbabwe in July 2018 were the two highest scores. Finch is also the first player to earn 900 rating points in the official ICC T20I rankings.

Mahmudullah Riyad- Bangladesh

Mahmudullah is a lower or middle order batsman and an off spin bowler, hence he is an all-rounder. However, he is highly prominent for his capability to finish a One Day International game. Mahmudullah appeared in 103 T20I matches and scored 1794 with the 64 highest scores. Further, he also took 33 wickets. After winning the second T20I match against New Zealand in September 2021, Mahmudullah has become the most successful Bangladeshi T20 captain after Mashrafe Mortaza.

Eoin Morgan-England

Irish-born English cricketer Eoin Morgan is well known for his captaincy for the England Cricket team as well as for different cricket league teams including Kolkata Knight Riders, Middlesex, and London Spirit. Nevertheless, Morgan led the England Cricket Team to win the 2019 ICC World Cup, which was the first win for England. Left-handed batsman Morgan has played 107 T20I matches and scored 2360 runs in total with 91 highest runs in his bucket.

Virat Kohli- India

Kohli is considered one of the most successful Indian captains in all formats. However, his T20 debut was in 2010 against Zimbabwe. Andrew Balbirnie- Ireland

Andrew Balbirnie is currently performing the role of captain for all formats for the Ireland cricket team. Although, he became the captain for ODI and Test in 2019, but picked as T20 captain in 2020. Balbirnie played his first T20 game in 2015 and so far, he appeared in 54 T20I matches in which he scored 1109 with 83 high scores.

Gerhard Erasmus- Namibia

26-year-old Gerhard Erasmus has been playing for Namibia national team since 2011. However, his T20 debut was in 2019 against Ghana. Right before the T20 World Cup 2021, he was named Namibia's captain in September. Previously he performed his role as a captain for Namibia’s ODI team. In the last two years, he played 22 T20I matches in total and scored 522 runs with the highest score of 72.

Pieter Seelaar- The Netherlands

Pieter Marinus Seelaar is an allrounder who plays as a right-handed batsman and left-arm orthodox spin bowler. He made his ODI debut in 2006 and two years later he played his first T20 match. After the retirement of former Netherland captain Peter Borren in 2018, Seelaar was named as a captain for the national team. Since the debut, Seelaar played 74 T20I and scored 568 runs, and took 56 wickets. His best innings bowling is 4/19 and his highest score in T20 is 96.

Kane Williamson- New Zealand

Kane Williamson is one of the great characters in the current cricket world. Previously, he represented New Zealand in T20 Cricket World Cup in 2012, 2014, and 2016. However, he became the full-time captain for the NZ T20 team in the 2016 ICC World Twenty20 in India. Williamson is the fastest 1000 run scorer for New Zealand in T20 cricket. In T20 cricket, he scored 171 runs in the opening match with Martin Guptill, which is the highest for New Zealand and is 3rd overall. Williamson scored 1805 runs in 67 T20I appearances for New Zealand.

Zeeshan Maqsood- Oman

Omani cricketer Zeeshan Maqsood made his T20 International debut in 2015 against Afghanistan in the ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier. However, Maqsood became the captain in 2019 for the 2019 ICC T20 World Cup Qualifier. Later, he was selected as the captain for the 2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cup. Maqsood played 32 T20I matches and scored 547 runs with 56 highest scores. Of the 32 games, he bowled in 22 innings and took 22 wickets and his best bowling innings is 4/7.

Pakistan- Babar Azam

Babar Azam holds a unique record in T20 cricket as he is the fastest batsman in the world to score 7000 T20 runs. However, his debut in T20 International was in 2016 against England and so far he scored 2204 in 61 T20 International matches. Azam’s batting average in T20 is 46.89 and has the highest score of 122. In April 2021, Babar Azam became the number batsman in the ICC ODI ranking and he is representing Pakistan as a captain in T20 World Cup this year.

Assad Vala- Papua New Guinea

A left-handed batsman and off spin bowler Assad Vala got his T20 International debut in 2015 against Ireland. However, he has been playing for the Papua New Guinea national cricket team since 2005. So far, Vala appeared in 29 T20 international games and scored 572 runs with a 24.86 batting average. Further, he also bowled in 19 matches and bagged 22 wickets. In August 2021, Vala was picked as the Captain for Papua New Guinea. Previously he has performed his role as a captain for the one day team.

Kyle Coetzer- Scotland 

Right hand batsman Kyle Coetzer has been involved with the Scotland national team since 2003 but made his T20I debut in 2008 for the national team. He is a former captain for Scotland’s one day team and became the T20 captain in 2017 and now he will represent Scotland in the T20 World Cup. Coetzer has played 64 T20I matches and scored 1411 runs with a 23.51 batting average. In 2020, ICC named Coetzer as the Associate Cricketer of the year.

Temba Bavuma- South Africa

Bavuma is a captain for both the One Day International and T20 team for South Africa. He is the second South African cricketer to score a hundred on one day debut and scored 113 runs against Ireland. Temba Bavuma first permanent back captain for South Africa. Right hand batsman Bavuma debuted in T20I in 2019 and so far, played 16 matches. He scored 410 runs with a 27.33 batting average in his 16 appearances. In March 2021, Temba was picked as the limited over or one day side captain and in September 2021 named as T20 captain.

Dasun Shanaka- Sri Lanka

Dasun Shanaka is the current limited overs captain for the Sri Lankan cricket team as well as captain for the T20I Cricket World Cup. He was well known as a pinch hitter. However, Shanaka is generally a batsman but he is also a right-arm medium fast bowler. He played the first T20I match in 2015 against Pakistan. In the last 6 years, he appeared in 49 T20 International matches and scored 611 runs with a 15.66 batting average. As a blower he played 23 innings and bagged 15 wickets.

Kieron Pollard- West Indies

Kieron Pollard is an aggressive all rounder who has captained the West Indies one day team as well as the T20 team since 2019. Pollard has become the first cricketer who played 500 T20 matches. He is also a medium-paced bowler while a big hitter in the middle order. Apart from the national team, Pollard also played in several T20 leagues in the world. Got his T20 International debut in 2008 and so far, scored 1378 in 88 matches and has a 24.60 batting average. He bowled in 54 innings out of those 88 matches and took 38 wickets with 4/25 best bowling innings.
