The decision was taken by the Disciplinary Committee of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) at the BFF House in Motijheel on Sunday, chaired by committee chairman by former Secretary Mezbahuddin Ahmed.
As per decision, the 29-year old midfielder will not take part in their next match against newly-crowned league champions Bashundhara Kings on Monday at the Rafiq Uddin Bhuiyan Stadium in Mymensingh.
Earlier, Jamal received a show-cause notice from the BFF on July 23 for making offensive comments against the referee to the media after his side’s 4-1 defeat against Dhaka Abahani Ltd in their BPL match on July 20.
Saif SC captain Jamal Bhuiyan became the third player of the game to see red card, although his came after the final whistle for allegedly assaulting the referee.
