A month-long “GamesHour Corporate Premier League T20-Season 2” battle ended with an exciting finale where Laila Group snatched the champion title beating Mutual Trust Bank by 1 wicket recently.

Mamun Sarder, a member of the champion group, became the Man of the Final for scoring 32 runs from 22 balls.

In other categories, The City Bank became the Plate Champion beating Stargaze International by 65 runs. Shakil Haider from the winning team received the man of the match award for his unbeaten 83 runs from 43 balls.

Eastern Bank PLC (EBL) won the Bowl Champion trophy beating the Amin Weekend Cricket Club by 4 wickets. Md. Mohaimenol Islam of EBL became the Man of the Match for his excellent knock of 25 runs and 2 wickets by 1.7 economy rate.

AKM Ziaul Haque Shipon of Laila Group won the Man of the Tournament award, Sovon of City Bank won the Batsman of the Tournament award and AKM Ziaul Haque Shipon of Laila Group won the Bowler of the Tournament award. All these matches were played at the Police Staff College Cricket Ground in Mirpur 14 of Dhaka.  

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Chief Selector Minhajul Abedin Nannu was the chief guest at the award ceremony. Former Bangladeshis batter Shahriar Nafees and David Moore, Head of Programs at BCB, were as special guests.

The guest list also included Shawkat Ali Miah, Director, Marketing, Enroute International Limited; Shahjahan Hossain Jisan, COO, Enroute International Limited and Sakif Ahsan, Director, GamesHour.
