In the other opening day’s fixture, hosts Thailand smartly dominated the four-nation tourney outplaying the Maldives by 11-0 goals.
In the remaining matches, Bangladesh will play their South Asian rivals the Maldives on Friday (Dec 14) at 4 pm.
Top team of the four team league basis matches will be the champions.
The U-15 footballers reached Thailand on Saturday to participate in the friendly football tournament featuring four teams -- one from Thailand, one from UEFA which is Cyprus and two AFC countries the Maldives and Bangladesh -- organised by Thailand Football Association under the collaboration of UEFA.
