Facebook, Instagram and Messenger and Threads users have reported suddenly getting logged out from their accounts.
This was first reported at 9:21pm BdST on Tuesday, according to Downdetector.
The problem is global, it said.
All four social media networks are owned by California-based Meta.
London-based internet monitoring firm Netblocks said on X that four Meta platforms -- Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and Threads -- were âcurrently experiencing outages related to login sessions in multiple countries.â But the firm, which advocates for internet freedom, said there was no sign of âcountry-level internet disruptions or filtering,â which are typically imposed by governments, according to AP.
Andy Stone, Meta's head communications, acknowledged the issues on X, formerly known as Twitter, and said the company is âworking on this now.â
