Up to three people went missing in Istanbul after a Turkish-flagged fishing boat collided with a Russian-flagged tanker in the Bosphorus Strait on Friday, semi official Anadolu Agency reported.
The clash took place at around 6:35 a.m. local time (0335 GMT) off Istanbul's Sariyer district, according to a statement by the local governor's office.
The fishing boat sank after the collision. Three out of six people on board were rescued.
The cause of the incident remains unclear, while rescue efforts are underway for the remaining crew members.
