Partial count of the votes show that principalists are leading Iran's parliamentary elections in the capital Tehran, Press TV reported.
Spokesman of the Interior Ministry's elections committee, Esmail Mousavi said official constituency results will be announced later on Saturday.
Iranians attended ballot polls on Friday to vote for the nominees of the 290-seat parliament.
A total of 57,918,000 people were eligible to cast their ballots.
