Chicken Haleem Recipe
Chicken is a favourite food item for children. If your kids are bored with usual chicken curries, you can prepare chicken haleem. This recipe is good for those people who prefer a lighter haleem to the spicy ones. You can easily prepare this dish as an Iftar meal in the holy month of Ramadan.
Ingredients (5 servings)
1/4 cup Gom, one fourth cup basmati rice, 1/4 cup masoor daal, moong daal, urad dal, and mashkalai Dal
For Haleem Masala Mix: 1 tsp cumin seeds, 1 tsp coriander seeds, 3 cloves, three cardamom, 3 dry red chilies, 1/2 inch cinnamon stick, 1 joyitri
For Chicken: 800 gms chicken, 1 large onion, one tsp ginger paste, garlic paste, turmeric powder, 4 green chilies, 1 tbsp red chilli powder, 1 tbsp ghee, 4 tbsp vegetable oil
For Garnish: 2 tbsp beresta, 2 tbsp julienned ginger
Steps
First, grind the Haleem mix. Then prepare the masala. Next, cook the chicken and add half masala while cooking. After that add haleem mix, water, and the rest of the masala and cook until it becomes thick. Finally, garnish and serve!

Mutton Haleem Recipe
If you are looking for the yummiest haleem recipe, choose mutton haleem. It is a great dish for family Iftar parties. Not to mention, mutton haleem is the most expensive haleem compared to the other types of haleem. However, if prepared at home you can make this dish healthier, tastier and cost-effective.
Ingredients (5,6 servings)
1 pack instant haleem, 2 onions, 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste, 1 cup oil, 500 g mutton boneless, 2 cups mutton stock
For Garnish: 2 tbsp beresta, 2 tbsp ginger, green chilies, coriander leaves.
Steps
First, soak the haleem mix given in the packet for 15 minutes with 2 or 2 ½ cups of boiled water. In a pot, fry onions and separate half when they become a golden colour. Then add mutton and masala given in the packet, ginger paste, and cook for 2 minutes. Next, add some water and cook for 6 to 7 minutes and then add the haleem mix. Cook until it becomes thick. Finally, garnish and serve healthy haleem.

Handi Haleem Recipe
Many of us might have tasted Handi Haleem at restaurants. This special haleem can be prepared at home too.
Ingredients (7-8 servings)
300 gm beef boneless, 50 gm gram pulses, mash pulse, moong pulse, red lentils, rice, wheat grains, 1 tbsp turmeric, salt, red chilli powder, cumin powder, green chilli paste, 6 tbsp oil, water.
Steps
First, put all pulses, lentils, rice, and wheat in a bowl and keep them in water for 4-5 hrs. Then, in a pot add oil, beef, and salt, and cook for 5-7 min. Next cook all soaked pulse and lentils, all spices, for 4-5 hrs on low flame. After that, mix them well with cooked beef. Finally, season with cooking oil, cumin, onion, red chilli, and ginger garlic paste.
