After the triplets in two other districts, now triplets born in Dinajpur have been named after the much-awaited Padma Bridge. A housewife named Sadina Begum, 32, gave birth to triplets through normal delivery at a community hospital in Birampur municipality under the district on Monday afternoon.     To commemorate the Padma Bridge, the largest communication infrastructure in the country, Jahidul Islam, father of the triplets named his daughters Shwapno, Padma and Setu.  The mother and the triplets are fine. They have been asked to take advice from a child expert in Dinajpur. They came in the native Tegra village on Eid vacation and delivery purpose.   "I named my daughters after Padma Bridge to show love to the much-hyped Padma Bridge and commemorate the event.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Monday congratulated a family for naming their newborn triplets in honour of the completion of Padma Bridge. A woman from Bandar Upazila of Narayanganj gave birth to triplets last week, and the newborns were named Swapna, Padma and Setu. The Prime Minister also sent her gifts for the triplets on Monday afternoon, PM’s assistant press secretary MM Emrul Kayas told UNB. PM’s Protocol Officer-I Mohammad Shameem Musfique visited the newborns at their house at Nabiganj  area in Bandar Upazila with the congratulatory message from the Prime Minister on Monday afternoon. Father Ashraful Islam is an Awami League leader. Ashraf-Anny couple named their son as Swapna, while two daughters as Padma and Setu. The three names make Swapna Padma Setu (Dreamt Padma Bridge). Mother  Anny Begum and triplets are in good condition.
