MIX Fold 2
Global smartphone company Xiaomi recently revealed its foldable flagship smartphone, Xiaomi MIX Fold 2, at a new product launch event in China. Measuring 5.4mm unfolded, MIX Fold 2 offers a consistent viewing experience on its inner and outer displays. Also, it delivers a Leica imagery experience and power efficiency with the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 mobile platform, according to a media statement. The device is equipped with a self-developed Micro Waterdrop Hinge which features a smaller bending radius, thinner screen modules, customised mini rotating hinge, and uses an integrated solder-free precision process to create a carbon fibre double-wing floating panel. MIX Fold 2 sports an inner folding design, with two AMOLED flagship screens of two different sizes on two respective sides. On the inside, MIX Fold 2 flaunts an 8.02-inch Samsung Eco OLED display. It adopts POL-LESS technology, replaces the traditional polarizer with an ultra-thin colour filter, and uses a black matrix material to reduce reflection on the screen. The two displays support 120Hz refresh rate, professional screen calibration on primary colours, a display brightness of 100 nits and Dolby Vision.
