Asaduzzaman Asad, former lawmaker from Rajshahi-3, was arrested in a case over assault and killings during the recent anti-discrimination student movement on Sunday. A team of Detective Branch arrested him from the capital’s Baridhara area, said ASP Imran Khan of the RAB Headquarters (media wing).
