A 28-year-old man died early Sunday allegedly after jumping from the sixth floor of a building in Rasulpur area of Kamrangirchar in the capital. The deceased was identified as Imam Hossain, son of Taj Uddin of Charposhon village under Dakkhin upazila in Bhola district. He used to live in a rented house in Kamrangirchar’s Rasulpag area and worked at a furniture shop. Talking to reporters at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), victim's father Tajuddin said that his son jumped from the window of his room around 2am following a family dispute.  Husband-wife commit suicide in the face of financial crisis Hearing his wife’s scream, locals rescued him and took him to the DMCH emergency unit around 2:30am where doctors declared him dead. DMCH police outpost in-charge Inspector Md Faruk said the body was kept  at the hospital morgue for autopsy.
