Turaag Active teams up with Daraz, Foodpanda to promote 'active lifestyle'
Turaag Active, a brand of Wave Riders, has partnered with online marketplaces Daraz and Foodpanda to promote an "active lifestyle."
The brand recently signed two separate memorandums of understanding (MoUs) with Daraz and Foodpanda.
These partnerships will allow Turaag Active to bring athleisure right to everyone's doorstep, according to a media statement.
Turaag Active is offering performance-enhancing fashionable activewear – casual clothing that is suitable for exercise or sport, for both men and women.
The brand's activewear, including polo shirts, sportswear, leggings, sweatshirts, jackets, and joggers, will now be available on Daraz and Foodpanda.
Faiaz Rahman, founder and director of Turaag Active, said: "We are changing the athleisure business by producing trendy gear for men and women that improves performance."
"We focus on fashion, functionality, and versatility while designing sportswear to create a line that you can wear daily," he added.

New Year celebrations: Realme comes up with discount offers on Daraz
Youth-centric brand realme has come up with discount offers on Daraz's New Year celebration campaign.
Buyers can buy certain models of realme smartphones at a discount of up to Tk3,400. The campaign started on January 6 and will continue till January 23.

Nagad offers 16% cashback on payment on Daraz
Mobile financial services (MFS) Nagad provider has teamed up with e-commerce platform Daraz to offer cashback of 16 percent instant cashback on bill payments through the online marketplace's app.
On the occasion of the Daraz 12.12 Sale Campaign, Customers can get cashback of up to Tk300 – maximum Tk100 for each transaction – on bill payments through Nagad using Daraz App, said the MFS.
Starting Monday, the offer will remain valid till December 31.

A partnership deal was signed between Nagad and Daraz in Dhaka recently.

Daraz hosts Bangladesh Media Innovation Awards 2022
The country’s leading online marketplace Daraz Bangladesh has organized the "Bangladesh Media Innovation Awards 2022" (BMIA 2022) event ceremony at the Ruposhi Bangla Grand Ballroom, InterContinental Dhaka on Tuesday.
Daraz Bangladesh organized the first-of-its-kind media awards recognizing innovative practices toward digital transformation, content marketing, and news distribution, with the aim to seek out the leading lights in the local digital media for their innovative ideas and practices.
Planning Minister MA Mannan joined the event as chief guest, while Deputy Minister for the Ministry of Education Mohibul Hassan Chowdhoury was present as the special guest.
Daraz Bangladesh’s Managing Director Syed Mostahidal Hoq, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer A H M Hasinul Quddus and other officials and media personnel from various industries and media outlets were also present at the ceremony.

The opportunities for Daraz in the global marketplace and our media outlets in the global media landscape are truly limitless, and we want to thank Daraz Bangladesh for recognizing the innovators in our local media industry,” MA Mannan said at the event.
Deputy Minister Mohibul Hassan Chowdhoury said, “Due to the lack of quality entertainment and meaningful programs in our media industry, people in our urban and rural communities are being misguided by religious extremists. We need to recognize the deserving media personnel who are trying to ensure quality content in tv, print and web, and this award is virtuously performing that responsibility.”

Daraz Bangladesh celebrates its 8th anniversary
Online marketplace Daraz Bangladesh is celebrating its 8th anniversary with a special anniversary campaign.
The campaign with the slogan “8 years of Unbound Joy Thank You, Bangladesh!” was inaugurated through a press conference on Thursday at a hotel in the capital. The campaign will continue from September 4 to 11.
To make the anniversary memorable for the shoppers, Daraz has brought a wide array of exciting tractions such as brand-free shipping, mystery box, flash sales, hot deals, and mega deals.
